The IT industry is unlike any other. Doing even the smallest of things can bring the biggest sense of achievement.
However, you are always expected to deliver with no time to take a breather.
And even when there is less work, you must use the time to either upskill or fix important things that got de-prioritized due to the need to release new features or whatever else.
Companies tout that they take work-life balance, mental health, etc. very seriously. But it's way down the priority list for them.
While it is unlikely that you will change the entire industry, you can be smarter and make it your priority.
And so you do not burn yourself out from trying to do everything yourself you can be smarter and hire a guide… or a coach.

As a software developer, you usually know the priorities you have to work on and why it matters for the business. Yet, a rare developer know their life priorities and what matters to them.
Unless you are making decision based on your core values, you will be doing work that is not aligned with what you want.
Moreover, if your top priority was taking care of your well-being, would you choose to do overtime or hijack your free time by thinking about work?
I will help you understand what really matters to you so you can make decisions aligned with your values.
Once you are out of balance, it is extremely hard to introspect what got you there.
A lot of the times it is caused by external circumstances magnified by your personal behaviors.
We will identify the root causes and sort out the ones that are in your control while increasing your resilience to the ones you cannot control.
While trying to run away from things that cause imbalance, it is often an afterthought to think about what makes your life flow with ease.
It is very likely that you already had an experience where everything was going smoothly and you enjoyed the process thoroughly.
Yet it is hard to replicate without being intentional.
We will figure out how you can get into such states more often.
No matter how much effort you put in to get out of burnout, it will come back unless you create habits that keep it from repeating.
Whether it is a habit of saying NO, habits that continuously improve your resilience, or habits that make you feel good.
All of it matters for the long-term and we will do exactly that – create a system that will last you a lifetime.
It often happens that you are constantly trying to balance work and life so you can do a tiny bit of what you like outside of work.
There is nothing wrong with that. Yet, that means you are wasting at least a third of your life doing what you do not love doing.
That is at least 15-20 years of your life.
Finding how you can enjoy your work will improve your experience of life exponentially.
I do not recommend it so you can pay me the most money. Rather, it is because my reputation depends on your success, and this way I can dig really deep.
We are transforming your life and your habits, which may have been with you since the day you were born, and, like going to a gym, you cannot expect instant results.
Not that you cannot or will not see results much sooner than before we are finished, just that it takes time so you stay consistent with the change.
It also demonstrates your total commitment to building a balance, meaningful life both to me, but more importantly, to yourself and those around you.
Having said that, you may be on your way with many of the things I can help you with and a shorter period may be more appropriate. Or, you may want to sample working with me first before you fully commit to me being your coach and that’s totally fine.
